Access DRAW 2D View

DRAW does not support 2D Area View gadgets. Instead DRAW has a new single 2D View (commonly referred to as the DRAW 2D canvas) which supports multiple tabs.

The DRAW 2D canvas supports the same interaction syntax (CURSOR) as PDMS DRAFT.

To display an appropriate element in a new tab on the DRAW 2D canvas use the following command:

!!runsynonymwithargs(|CALLIBM UELEMSEL <ELEMENT NAME> |)

Where the element types that can be displayed are: sheets, overlays, backing sheets, symbol templates, ISODRAFT symbol templates and sheet templates.

User defined controls for interacting with DRAW 2D canvas can be added to a new ribbon tab as required.
