Use the Class and Attributes Mapping tab to map Engineering classes and attributes to the DEXPI schema.

Note:
If the ISO 15926 DEXPI 3.3.3 schema is selected on the Settings tab, the Class and Attributes Mapping tab does not display.

Use the Class mapping part of the window to map Engineering classes to the DEXPI schema. If the project contains DEXPI data in the conceptual model classes, the mappings display by default. New mappings display at the bottom of the class mappings grid.

Adds a row to the bottom of the grid.

Note:
Populate all data fields in the Class Mapping part of the window to add a new row.

Deletes the currently selected row from the grid.

Automap

Click Automap to display the Open window. Use the Open window to import classes from a DEXPI xml file. All component classes in the XML file are imported into the class mapping grid. If an imported class matches a class in the data model, the mapping is updated, or the Engineering Tag column remains empty.

All imported classes which contain DEXPI attributes are loaded into the attributes/associations mapping grid.

Note:
Imported DEXPI attributes are not automatically mapped to the corresponding Engineering attributes. You must manually map them to save the DEXPI attributes.

Engineering Tag

Use the Select Class window to select the class using the TMS class hierarchy or search functionality. The DEXPI Schema and DEXPI Schema URI columns are populated by default, provided that the class name matches a DEXPI class.

DEXPI Schema

Enter a value in the DEXPI Schema column, or click ... to display the Select DEXPI Class window. Use the Select DEXPI Class window to modify the mapped DEXPI schema.

Use the Attributes/Associations mapping part of the window to map Engineering attributes to the DEXPI schema.

Engineering Tag

Click ... to display the Select Attribute window. Use the Select Attribute window to select the required attribute for the currently selected class.

DEXPI Schema

Enter a value in the DEXPI Schema column, or click ... to display the Set Attribute URI window. Use the Set Attribute URI window to select the DEXPI Schema attribute.

Clear the Attribute field and click Search to display the available attributes for selection.
