Assign Busbar Devices

Use the Devices for Busbar window to assign devices to busbars.

Power Connections and Spares grid

Lists the power connections, spares and linked devices assigned to the busbar. The main device, connection type, whether or not it is a spare, supply tag, fed tag, enclosure tag and compartment of each connection and spare is listed.

Incomer button

Adds a spare incomer to the busbar.

Outgoing feeder button

Adds a spare outgoing feeder to the busbar.

Compartment and Devices

Used to view and edit the compartment devices of a power connection selected in the grid.

Manual

Shows the main device, linked devices, compartment, and components within that compartment, associated with power connection selected in the grid.

Main Device

Shows the main device associated with power connection selected in the grid.

Linked Devices

Lists the linked devices associated with power connection selected in the grid.

Compartment

Shows the compartment associated with power connection selected in the grid.

Compartment class

Opens the New window. Used to add a compartment to the power connection selected in the grid and specify its class.

Compartment parts

Shows the components within the compartment associated with power connection selected in the grid.

Main devices are indicated with an asterisk prefix *.

Device class

Opens the New window. Used to add a device to the compartment and specify its class.

Remove device

Used to delete a selected device from the compartment.

Set as main device

Used to set a selected device as the main device in the compartment.

Unset main device

Used to remove the main device status from a device in the compartment.

Library

Lists the Library compartments that may be applied to a new or existing compartment to generate details of that compartment and create its components.

In the case of an existing compartments with components the user is given the option to replace the existing components with those from the library compartment record, or add the components from the library compartment record to the list of existing components.

If there are multiple main protection devices in the library record, the Select main device window will be displayed.
