Graphic Properties

Displays the properties of objects. If the selected object(s) are read only (locked, claimed or unavailable through direct access control), the properties are greyed out.

If the Graphic Properties window is docked, click the Pin to lock the window in the docked position.

If a single object is selected, the object type displays in the drop-down list at the top of the window, and the window displays the object’s properties.

If multiple objects are selected, the drop-down list at the top of the window initially displays All (number of selected objects) and the window displays only properties common to the selected objects.

The drop-down list displays each type of object selected. If more than one object type is currently selected, the number of each object type displays in brackets.

If an object type is selected from the drop-down list, the properties associated with the object type display, or common properties if more than one of that object type is currently selected.

A new selection can be initiated, a single or multiple selection specified, and all properties can be set to the default values. Selections made on the Drawings Explorer are shown in the Graphic Properties window and clears the graphical selection.

Specify object selection mode

Indicates multiple object selection mode. Every object clicked on is added to the list of selected objects.

Specify object selection mode

Indicates single object selection mode. Only one object can be selected at a time. Selecting an object de-selects any previously selected objects.

Initiate new object selection

De-selects all currently selected objects and initiates a new selection.

Set all of the visual properties of the selected objects to default

Sets all the visual properties of the selected objects to their default values.

Show the vertex editor for the selected object.

Displays the Vertex Editor window.

The properties list view can be defined.

Categorized

List the properties by category. Property categories are ordered logically. By default, some categories are expanded and some are collapsed. Once set, the expanded or collapsed state of a category remains the same when a different element is selected.

Alphabetical

Lists the properties alphabetically.

The list of properties allows the modification of object properties. For example, input a dimensional value in the Width field to modify the width of an object. Select a color from the Fill Colour drop-down list to modify the fill of an object.

Refer to Vertex Editor for further information.
