Assign Signals to Terminals

Use this window, which will have the name of the selected terminal strip, to assign signals to the terminals of that terminal strip.

Terminals grid
Displays details of the terminals of the selected terminal strip.
Select (Terminals grid)
Specifies the terminals to which signals selected in the Signals grid are to be assigned.
Also used to specify which signals are to unassigned from terminals using Remove.

Displays and hides details of the signals assigned to a terminal.

Polarity
Specifies the polarity of a signal.
Assign
Assigns the signals selected in the Signals grid to the terminals selected in the Terminals grid.
Remove
Removes signals selected in the Terminals grid.
Signals grid
Displays details of the signals that can be assigned to the terminals.
Hide assigned signals
Specifies whether or not signals already assigned to terminals are listed in the Signals grid.
Select (Signals grid)
Specifies which signals are to be assigned to the terminals selected in the Terminals grid.
Assigning signal polarities to terminals
When assigning the signal to the terminals, select the two terminals to assign the two polarities +,- to:

Then both the polarities can be selected from the drop-down list:


If more than one signal is assigned to the same terminal, then both propagated signals will take the same polarity.
