Once the case control is mapped under Items properties the user set case values to be auto-populated, thus enabling the administrator to select a default case. Refer to Default Cases and Cases for further information.
Note:
The cases are preferably created and added to the MDB in the Engineer module before
logging in the Configuration module to map the cases under Items properties.
Example
Open a Datasheet template and map a case control available from the Item properties ( in this example - Case1, Case2 or Case3).Set the default case as Case3, save and close.

Note:
The selected Case is treated as the default case.
The selected Case needs to be saved and while re-opening the Datasheet Template the earlier selected Case should be pre-populated.
The selected Case needs to be saved and while re-opening the Datasheet Template the earlier selected Case should be pre-populated but can be updated later.
For the existing Datasheet Templates, upon clicking of Case Controls or while loading DST we fill-in the Items property values.
If no selection is made, then the behavior should be as existing that is left blank if the Items field is empty else by default show the first case from the array list.
If the MDB doesn’t have the configured Cases or there are no Cases configured, then the Items should have "Base Case" as it is today
In scenarios when Case values are changed by the user, then while loading a DST necessary validation messages will be logged giving information to update the Case Controls.
