The following image depicts the AVEVA Unified Engineering workflow using AVEVA Process Simulation.
-
AVEVA Process Simulation user publishes a simulation.
-
AVEVA Notification Service receives a notification and sends notification to AVEVA Engineering. AVEVA Integration Service receives published data and AVEVA Engineering pulls data from AVEVA Integration Service while processing the received notification.
-
When the user acts to import data, AVEVA Integration Service Service provides data to the AVEVA Engineering user.
-
Simultaneously, AVEVA Integration Service Service uses the AVEVA Gateways for AVEVA Process Simulation to convert .simx files to .svg files.
-
The AVEVA Engineering user imports the .svg files. Alongside, AVEVA Engineering creates objects for the elements in the simulation that can be used in the initial design.
-
The AVEVA Engineering user makes changes to the data and republishes it.
-
AVEVA Integration Service Service receives a notification about the availability of changed data and AVEVA Process Simulation reads the notification.
-
When the user acts to import data, AVEVA Integration Service Service provides the data to the AVEVA Process Simulation user.
-
After the simulation data are available in AVEVA Engineering, the data can be transferred to 2D and 3D applications such as AVEVA E3D Design, AVEVA Diagrams and AVEVA P&ID and continue with detail design. The data can also be transferred to other AVEVA applications such AVEVA Engage, AVEVA ERM and AVEVA AIM.
