Multi-Select Filter Mode

If the Multi-select Filter Style check box is selected, multi-select filter mode is activated.

Hover the cursor over the filter row for a column and click the filter criteria arrow that is displayed to the right of the cell to apply a multi-select filter to a column.

The filter criteria list displays all the filtered cell values, plus All and Blanks.

Select the check box adjacent to a cell value to include the cell in the filter.

Select the All check box to select all of the check boxes adjacent to the cell values. Select the All check box again to deselect all check boxes adjacent to the cell values.

Select the Blanks check box to include rows without a value in the column in the filter.

Text Filters

Applies additional filter criteria to the filter.

Equals

Includes all values that are equal to the filter value.

Not Equals

Includes all values that are not equal to the filter value.

<

Less Than

Includes all values that are smaller than the filter value.

£

Less Than or Equal To

Includes all values that are smaller than the filter value or is equal to the filter value.

>

Greater Than

Includes all values that are greater than the filter value.

³

Greater Than or Equal To

Includes all values that are greater than the filter value or is equal to the filter value.

Starts With

Includes all values that starts with the filter value.

Does not Start With

Includes all values that does not start with the filter value.

Ends With

Includes all values that ends with the filter value.

Does Not Ends With

Includes all values that does not end with the filter value.

Custom Filter

Use the Custom Filter window to create a customized text filter for the column using various filter rules.

FIlter based on

All

Includes values that match all of the custom rules in the filter.

Any

Includes values that match any of the custom rules in the filter.

Add

Creates a filter row.

Delete

Deletes the currently selected filter row.

Column

Displays the column to which the filter rule is applied. The column cannot be changed.

Criteria

Applies filter criteria to the filter rule.

Value

Specifies the filter value for the filter rule.
