As in a non-Global projects, inter-DB macros will be created, for example, when a user tries to connect a pipe in one database to a nozzle in another database for which that user only has Read access.
Within a Global environment, inter-db macros may need propagating to various locations. In order for this to be successful, carry out the following:
-
The macro directory, (for example,. abcmac), must exist at all locations where macros will be created.
-
The project variables for the macro directory (for example, ABCMAC) are set for the daemons. (All project environment variables must also be set for users, of course.)
