Add Image to Drawing

Adds an image to a drawing.

On the Drawings tab, in the Insert group, click Image and select Image from the drop-down menu to display the Open window.

Select the required image from the window and click Open

The prompt Specify the centre point or <By corner and scale> is displayed.

A preview of the image displays at the cursor.

Input values in the dimension fields and press Enter or click to identify the location for the center of the image.

The prompt enter the Scale <1> is displayed.

Input a value in the field and press Enter to define the scale factor. Alternatively, move the cursor away from the insertion point to increase the size of the image or move the cursor closer to the insertion point to decrease the size of the image. Click to define the scale factor.

The prompt enter the Rotation angle <0deg> is displayed.

Input an angular value in the field and press Enter to define the rotation angle. Alternatively, move the cursor around the centre of the image to visually select the required angle. A ghosted preview of the image rotates to reflect the angle. Click to define the rotation angle.

The image is added to the drawing.

Press ESC to cancel the command. Additional functionality is also available.
