Sort Report Data

Sorts report data using a label control that is bound to a field item. The field item is used as the sorting criteria.

Click the Detail band on the report.

Click the Smart tag symbol at the top of the band to display the Tasks window.

Click the ellipsis next to Sort Fields to display the Group Field Collection Editor window.

Click Add to add a new entry.
Note:
Data can be sorted against multiple field items. If this is required, add more entries and specify the field items and sort order settings. -
Click OK to apply the settings and close the Group Field Collection Editor window.

Click the Print Preview tab to display a preview of the current report layout with the sorted report data.
