Protect Drawing

Sets the read only status of a drawing.

A protected drawing is read only and cannot be modified, drawing objects can still be modified using the associated grid. Attribute changes made to drawing objects are updated regardless of the protection status.

An unprotected drawing can be modified. By default, generated drawings are protected but can be made unprotected if modification is required. For example, loop drawings or hookup drawings.

By default, manually created drawings are unprotected.

All issued drawings are read only, the protection status of issued drawings cannot be modified.
