Progress Messages

When the daemon is running and updates are taking place, the daemon will output messages about the progress of the transfer. These will be sent to the window in which you started up the daemon, but you can redirect this to a diagnostics file. You should always set up a diagnostics file if you are running the daemon as a background process, as there is no other way of viewing the messages.

If the daemon is running but there are problems with the data it is receiving, you may need to contact your AVEVA Support Office. You may be asked to generate more information about the problem using the options on the Local Daemon Settings window, displayed when you select Settings > Daemon Settings on the main ADMIN menu bar. If it is necessary for you to use the form, refer to Logging for further information.

The diagnostics are not available for off-line locations.
