Copy Node

Copies the currently selected node on the Setup Explorer to the clipboard, ready for pasting. Member elements are also copied.

For example:

• Symbol nodes can be copied, ready for pasting onto the same or a different symbol palette node.

• Symbol palette nodes can be copied, containing all member symbols, ready for pasting onto the same or a different drawing type node.

• Drawing borders node can be copied, ready for pasting onto the same drawing border container node.

Using the standard Ctrl and Shift keyboard options, you can select multiple nodes, or elements within them, to copy and. Right-click the selected nodes and use the Copy and Paste options in the context menu. Pasted nodes and elements are renamed if an element with the same name already exists in the target node.

Note: The Ctrl+C and Ctrl+V keyboard shortcuts cannot be used. Copied nodes cannot be pasted if deleted before the paste operation.

Click on a node in the Setup Explorer and on the Drawing tab, in the Node group, click Copy.

Alternatively, right-click on a node in the Setup Explorer and select Copy from the drop down list.
