Adds a Table of Contents to the report using existing bookmarks.

The Table of Contents control is added to the ReportHeader band.

The table of contents displays when the report is previewed.
On the Properties window, the Table of Contents control properties are divided into the following tabs:

Appearance
Background Color
Specifies the background colour of controls. The functionality is also available on
the Report Designer tab (
).
Border Color, Border Dash Style, Border Width and Borders
Specifies border settings for controls.
Foreground Color
Specifies the text colour for controls. The functionality is also available on the
Report Designer tab (
).
Location
Specifies the location of the control in report measurement units.
Padding
Specifies indent values used to render the contents of the controls.
Style Priority
Defines the priority of various styles (for example, background colour or border colour).
Styles
Defines odd and even styles for the controls, as well as assigning an existing style to the them (or a newly created one).
Behavior
Level Default
Provides access to define the display of the content of the control (the referenced bookmarks).
Back Color
Specifies the background color for the control content.
Font
Specifies the font settings for the control content.
Fore Color
Specifies the text color for the control content.
Height
Specifies the row height for the control content in report measurement units.
Indent
Specifies the left indent value used to define the hierarchy of the control content.
Leader Symbol
Specifies the symbol used to display the leader line between the contents headings and the page number.
Padding
Specifies indent values used to render the contents of the controls.
Level Title
Provides access to define the title of the control.
Text
Defines a line of static text to be displayed as the control title.
Text Alignment
Levels
Displays the Table of Contents Level Collection Editor window, which provides access to the table of contents levels collection.
Max Nesting Level
Specifies the maximum number of table of contents levels to display. If the value is set to 0, no limitation is applied.
Visible
Specifies whether the control is visible when using the print preview.
Data
Tag
Adds additional information to a control; for example, the Id, by which the control can then be accessed via scripts.
Miscellaneous
(Name)
Determines the name of the control, by which it can be accessed in the Report Explorer, Properties window or via scripts.
Right to Left
Specifies the content orientation of the controls.
Favorites
Right-click on the Favorites tab and select Edit Favorite Property List to display the Favorite Properties Editor, which is used to customise the available properties on the Favorites tab.
