Use the text colour functionality in the Appearance part of the Properties window to set the colour of the text in a selected cell of the datasheet template.

From the Properties part of the template editor, in the Text Colour field, click the arrow to display the Colour Palettes. Click to select the desired colour for the font in the datasheet template.
