Stand-Alone DICE

The Data Integrity Checker (DICE) can run independently of AVEVA Administration without opening a project. This is particularly useful when the System Database (DB) is corrupted and the administrator cannot open AVEVA Administration. In this situation, you can run DICE outside the project to check and patch the System DB. Another advantage of stand-alone mode is that DICE can check databases from multiple projects in a single session, which is not possible Administration mode.

Start stand-alone mode using Apprun in MSIX-installed versions of AVEVA Administration. To begin a session, open a CMD shell and enter admin --module:dop.
