Auto Terminate Cores

Automatically terminates the cores of the selected cable or cables.

If any of the cables have a choice of terminals they can be connected to, the Auto terminate cores window is displayed, with details of all selected cables displayed. Otherwise the terminations proceed automatically.

The Auto terminate cores window lists the selected cables and the items and terminals they are to be connected to and from.

Existing and default connections and terminations are displayed when the window is opened in the Connected from, Terminated from, Connected to, and Terminated to columns.

To add or change the equipment/sub-equipment at which a cable core is terminated, click ... in the relevant Terminated from or Terminated to field. This accesses the Select sub-equipment window.

Click OK to make the selected terminations.

Note:
Terminals specified as spare and terminals already terminated will not be used by the auto-termination process.

Messages in the System tab of the Messages window will indicate whether or not the cores have been successfully terminated.
