Structural Element
Primary Element
Description
A CMFI can be used to represent a penetration at which one or more elements (Pipes or Sections) pass through a hole in a Section. The position of each individual penetrating item is represented by a Subfitting (SBFI) element owned by the CMFI; the CMFI is primarily an administrative element used to position a group of SBFI. A CMFI is positioned along the Z axis of its owning Section, in the same way as a Secondary Node.
