Filter Report Data

Filters report data using the Properties window.

1. Deselect all controls and make sure the report name is displayed at the top of the Properties window.

2. On the Properties window, click the Appearance tab.

   

3. Click the ellipsis next to Filter String to display the FilterString Editor window.

   

4. Use the functionality available to create a filter condition. Multiple filter conditions can be used.

5. Click OK to apply the settings and close the FilterString Editor window.

6. Click the Print Preview tab to display a preview of the current report layout with the filtered report data.

Functionality is available to request a filtering parameter each time a report is previewed. Refer to Parameterised Report for further information.
