PFD Explorer

Displays the PFD Explorer. For more information, see PFD Explorer.

Stream Data

Displays the Stream Viewer tab to view stream information in a fixed grid format for a single or multiple selected streams from the Process Flow Diagram (PFD) drawing and the composition of the stream.

Notifications

Manage Notifications

The icon displays the number of notifications available for import.

Displays the Notifications windows populated with the notifications published by AVEVA PRO/II Simulation and/or AVEVA Process Simulation.

Refresh

Refreshes the notification information on the icon and in the Notifications window.

Send to Process Simulation

Sends the data of the selected Functional Item (FUNITE) from AVEVA Engineering back to AVEVA Process Simulation.

Drawings

Flowsheets

Displays the Select Simulation window to view the simulation diagram form the SVG format.

Set Active Case

Displays the Set Active Cases window to control the active cases for all case dependent attribute columns in the current grid.

Update & Links interconnected items

Links Simulation Items (SIMITES) and Functional Items (FUNITES) and their available interconnected items.

Modify

Split Upstream

Creates a new stream upstream based on a selected inline item on a stream.

Split Downstream

Creates a new stream downstream based on a selected inline item on a stream.

Reverse Stream

Reverses the Flow direction of selected streams in PFD drawings including the connection references.

Functional Tags

Link and Update PFD

Displays the Link and Update window for selected simulation items (SIMITES) to establish the link between the Unit Operations objects (UO) and existing functional items and to update the linked objects with the data from simulation.

Update PFD

Displays the Compare and Update window to update data from linked Simulation Items (SIMITES) to selected Functional Items (FUNITES) or from selected Engineering Items (ENGITES) to FUNITES.

Engineering Items

Create

Creates ENGITES from FUNITIES with data or with out data.

Update

Updates data of selected PFD to ENGITES.

HMB Table

Insert

Inserts the Heat and Mass Balance (HMB) table for a selected Process Flow Diagram (PFD) drawing.

Edit

Edits a selected Heat and Mass Balance (HMB) table on the Process Flow Diagram (PFD) drawing.

Assign to

Assigns components to a single or multiple selected streams to groups.
