Memory Cache

The memory cache functionality is particularly intended for use with grids within the Engineer module and reduces the number of times that the software needs to access the database for displaying data.

Note:
Turning on the memory cache provides a level of performance improvement in grids. The exact amount of performance improvement depends upon the specific grid and how it is configured, what data is being displayed and what performance the local network gives when accessing the database files.
