Create Image Resources

A command menu may be displayed on the ribbon as text only, but you can also add images for your commands.

A command can reference a picture file on your file browser, it is also possible to group picture files in a single resources file, allowing you to distribute a single resources file for several commands.

Note:
This approach is also valid for any image in your regular PML forms.

1. Create the three images as per the following example, make sure the background is transparent.

   

2. Open the program "ResourcesEditor.exe", supplied in your %aveva_design_exe% directory and create a new resources file.

3. Select the Bitmaps tab, open the three previously created images and create the three image resources.

4. Save the file in your CAF_UIC_PATH folder. For further information, refer to Create a UIC File.
