Display Import File

Use the Display Import File functionality to view the content of a conceptual model, contextual view or model differences file prior to import.

On the Data Model tab, in the Start group, click Display Import File to display the Select file to display window.

Use the Select file to display window to navigate to and select the external file (model) to view.

A number of industry standard semantic formats are supported.

The File window displays the content of the external file, the diagram is populated with a view of the model classes.
