Dictionary Explorer

The Dictionary Explorer lists all available elements in the Dictionary (DICT) database. All Dictionary Explorer functionality is provided through selections made by the administrator depending upon the selections made in the Lexicon window.

Above the navigation tree is a search filter field as well as a drop-down list where predefined search filters can be selected. You can navigate to the selected filter in the explorer tree.

Click Search to search for items. Refer to Search for further information.

To display additional Explorers, right-click to highlight the element in the dictionary explorer. Right-click and select New Explorer from the drop-down menu, depending on the type of element currently selected, a different set of options is available for selection. Once the selection has been made, an additional Dictionary Explorer displays to the right of the Dictionary Explorer window, populated with the selected element.

Edit Members

The Edit Members menu option is available from the right-click drop-down menu in Dictionary Explorer. The Edit Members window is populated with the attributes of the dictionary elements beneath the Current Element (CE).

Elements can be created and edited with the Edit Members functionality. Refer to Schematic Model Manager for further information.
