To transfer data from AVEVA Process Simulation to AVEVA Engineering

Select the Process tab to display the appropriate functions.

Click the Save specifications and values into a new snapshot icon in the Snapshot area for the Base Case.

Note: If another case is displayed, click the Open snapshots to manage saved result icon to display the Snapshot Manager window.

Select INIT. Click the Save specifications and values into a new snapshot icon. -
Select the Engineering tab to display the appropriate functions.

Note: The Connect/Disconnect to AVEVA Engineering icon needs to be green. If it is black, the Export Cases and the Plant Area are greyed.

Click the Connect/Disconnect to AVEVA Engineering icon to enable the Plant Area functionality and to connect AVEVA Process Simulation with the Example Project EXP in AVEVA Engineering.

Click the Setting icon in the Connection area to display the AVEVA Configuration window.

Enter the location path where the simualtion data must be stored, for example, D:\SIMU_PR\PRO\simulation.

Click Connect to connect with the new setting.

Click the x icon to close the window.

In the Export Case area, select the export case (the snapshot has been made before) using the dropdown list, for example, INT.

Enter a Plant Area name, for example, Plant Area 1.
Note: The Plant Area name in AVEVA Engineering must match the Plant Area name in Simulation.

Click the Send Selected Snapshot icon.
The data are sent to AVEVA Engineering. The data becomes available on the Notification icon and in the Simulation tab and in the Notification window.

You can Import Data from AVEVA Process Simulation now.
