Open Grid

Displays the currently selected grid element on the Grids Explorer. If sub-grids have been defined, they are displayed under the grid.

The total number of records is displayed on the status bar.

Note:
By default, the title tab of each grid includes the category name and the grid name. If required, the category name can be hidden using the Display Short Titles functionality.

Note:
By default, each grid is displayed on a separate tab. If required, each grid can be displayed in separate window using the Tabbed View functionality.

When an item is selected in a grid, the sub-grid displays the items associated with that item. For example, the motor associated with a pump.

Sub-grid data can be viewed, formatted and edited in the same way as data in grids. If a record in a sub-grid is selected, the title bar of the sub-grid is highlighted in blue.
