The Project Download utility allows the download of an existing CONNECT cloud-based storage project to an on-premises Dabacon Project. The entire project structure is rebuilt onto a specified disk under the determined folder.
The download processes each of the project folders differently.
Databases
Database files in area folders are downloaded assuming that the database is defined in the system DB. Any database files that reside in an area that is not directly referenced by the project are ignored.
DFLTS, INFO, ISO Folders
All files in all directories of the DFLTS, INFO and ISO folders are downloaded to the target folder.
Inter DB Macros
Inter DB macros are defined if they are registered in the misc database and are downloaded into the target folder assuming that a reference exists. Files that are not referenced are not downloaded.
PIC, STE, TPL, DIA Folders
Picture, Stencil, Template and Diagram folders contain files that are directly referenced from their appropriate database. All appropriate databases of a type are scanned to determine which files are referenced from the project. Only those files that are referenced are downloaded to the target folder, other files are ignored.

When the conversion is complete, a summary displays in the Command Window.

Command Syntax
The command line syntax for project download is:
SPECTR/UM---DOWN/LOAD---directoryname
There is a current limitation when downloading CONNECT cloud-based storage projects that contain databases in areas. An error message displays.

The error occurs because the system is checking for the existence of the area environment variable. To workaround this, an environment variable must be set for each area where a database resides.
