Compare Datasheet Revisions

Use Compare Revisions to compare the data in different datasheet instances created from the same datasheet template.
The comparison includes nested continuation areas and creations of CanHaveParts and HasParts associations.
The Compare Revisions option (Home>Datasheets>Datasheet>Compare Revisions) is available when these conditions apply:

Two or more datasheet instances are created from the same datasheet template.

The datasheet template has not been modified between the creation of the datasheet instances.

Each instance has been opened and given a status, using the Promote and Demote options (Manage>Status Actions>Promote/Demote).

The statuses of two or more of the instances are different. For example, one instance has been promoted and another demoted.

One of the datasheet instances is open and clicked with the mouse.
The Compare revisions form is displayed.
First Revision
Specifies the first version of the datasheet for comparison.
Second Revision
Specifies the second version of the datasheet for comparison.

Hovering the mouse pointer over the red cell corner shows the previous cell value or previous cell control information.
