Trim pipes are added to the drawing canvas by dragging from the Symbol Palette, P&ID Explorer or directly from the grid.
The trim pipe can be rotated to the correct orientation and positioned directly on the drawing canvas.
The prompt Select parent equipment is displayed.
Click to identify the owning equipment item. For example, a pressure vessel.
The trim pipe is associated with the selected equipment item. By default, the trim pipe annotations are populated from the pipeline fluid specification, pipeline specification and number attribute values.
Trim pipes can also be associated with secondary centerlines.
Note:
If an owning equipment item is deleted, all associated trim pipes and piping components
are deleted.
Note:
Trim annotations are not highlighted when attribute values are modified.

Refer to Symbol Palette, P&ID Explorer, Add Grid Records, Add Equipment, Assign Bore, Assign Number, Assign Fluid Specification, Assign Insulation Specification, Assign Piping Specification, Assign Tracing Specification and Assign Insulation Specification for further information.
