Propagating and Non-propagating Files

This section describes foreign databases, working extracts used as non-propagating databases, wotkin extracts, working extracts, DRAW picture and neutral format file, compulsory propagation, other non-propagating files, transfer of other data, restriction on file types and transfer of linked documents.

There is a strict limit on the number of propagating files that can be distributed in Global to control the level of traffic and data that the global Daemon transmits and maintains. Currently, this limit stands at 500 files per database.
