Database Sets are sets of databases that can be handled as a single unit. For example, a database set can be added to or removed from a Multiple DataBases (MDB), or Database Integrity Checker (DICE)-checked Database (DB) sets can contain other DB sets.
Database sets can be a static list of databases or they can work dynamically by using collections. For example, all the databases with the string "Area01" in the description can be collected. This is useful if databases might be added or removed in future and the administrator intends the new databases to be added to MDBS automatically, based on rules.
Click DB Sets on the Manage tab and click Create. The Create DB Set window is displayed.

The Non Members DB Sets list shows all the DB Sets which have not already been added to the current set. The Non Members DBs list shows all the databases which have not already been added to the current set. The Members (Ordered) list shows all the databases that are part of the current DB set.
To add a DB Set or DB to the Members (Ordered) list:
-
In the Members (Ordered) list, highlight the element either immediately after or just before where to add the new DB Set or DB.
-
Select either After or Before.
-
Select a DB Set to add from the Non Members DB Sets list, or a DB from the Non Members DBs list.
-
Click the appropriate Add.
Note:
There cannot be more than one database with the same database number in a set.
