Import and Export Utilities

While setting up a new project the user might want to use teams, users, databases and other resources that were created in a previous project. Instead of setting them up manually the AVEVA Administration export utility provides an easy way of exporting all the data into a Microsoft Excel spreadsheet where it can be stored (and also modified) for future use. The exported document can be easily imported into another project using the import utility.
Options for Export, Import and Rollback are displayed on the Home tab:

Import Config |
Used for importing project data from a specified Microsoft Excel spreadsheet. |

Export Config |
Used for exporting project data into a specified Microsoft Excel spreadsheet. |
|
Rollback Config |
Used to undo all the changes made to a project by the last Import operation. The Rollback option is only visible if an Import operation has been completed. |
