Zoom Options

Zoom Extents

Displays the drawing view at full size on the screen.

Zoom In

Zooms in to a drawing.

Zoom Out

Zooms out from a drawing.

Zoom Realtime

Select from the drop-down list, then click and hold the mouse wheel and drag the view in the required direction.

To zoom in to a drawing, roll the mouse wheel up.

To zoom out from a drawing, roll the mouse wheel down.

Zoom Window

Zooms in to a defined area.

The prompt Specify first corner is displayed.

Click to identify the first corner of the zoom area.

The prompt Specify opposite corner is displayed.

Click to identify the opposite corner of the zoom area.

The drawing view zooms to the selected zoom area.

Zoom Dynamic

Displays an area selection box.

Move the cursor as required until the left side of the area selection box corresponds to the left side of the area to be zoomed into and click the left mouse button.

Then move the mouse left or right to define the size of the area selection box.

Click the left mouse button and move the mouse up or down to define position of the area selection box.

Press Enter to zoom to the selection box area.

Zoom Scale

Zooms by a defined scale.

The prompt Enter Scale factor (nX or nXP) is displayed.

Input a value at the prompt, for example, 2x to zoom in at twice the scale.

Zoom Centre

Zooms using a specified center point.

The prompt Specify centre point is displayed.

Click to identify the center point.

The prompt Enter magnification factor or new height is displayed.

Input a value at the prompt, for example, 2x to zoom in at twice the scale.

Alternatively, click the drawing to identify the height of the zoom area from the center point.

Zoom Object

Zooms in to a selected object or objects.

The prompt Select objects is displayed.

Click to identify the zoom object or objects.

Press Enter to zoom to the selected object area.
