Create a Revision Configuration World

A top level element within the Dictionairy (DICT) database is Revision Configuration World (REVCWL) which must be created directly below the Dictionary World element.
To create a REVCWL element, on the Home tab, in the Create group, select Create from the displayed drop-down list select REVCWL: Revision Configuration World. A REVCWL element is created and displayed in the Dictionary Explorer.

When a new element is created in the dictionary hierarchy using the Dictionary Explorer and if the Current Element Editor window is open, it automatically updates to display the default attributes for that element.
Note:
If the Current Element Editor window is not open, right-click in any Explorer window
and select Current Element Editor.

After the creation of a new REVCWL element, use the Current Element Editor window to populate the attributes in the Current Element Editor.
Note:
Dependent upon the attribute, other related attributes are enabled or disabled accordingly.

Name |
Input a valid short name for the element in the text box, special characters are not allowed. Input a valid name for the REVCWL World element in the text box, special characters are not allowed. |

Lock |
Select True from the drop-down menu to lock the element attributes. Select False from the drop-down menu to unlock the element attributes. Select True from the drop-down menu to lock the REVCWL World attributes. Select False from the drop-down menu to unlock the REVCWL World attributes. |
The Dictionary Explorer automatically updates to display the specified name for the element.
