Use the Start functionality to get started and to create the conceptual model:

• Home - use this page to get started with the Data Model functionality.

• Import - use the drop-down menu to import a conceptual model, import an implementation model, or to display an import file to visualize model deltas.

Use the View functionality to manage opened or created models:

• Diagram View - use this diagrammatic view to see the structure of the model.

• Grid View - use this view to see a grid of details about the objects in the model.

• Mappings - use this view to see and edit mappings between the models.

• Restricted Lists - use this view to see and edit restricted lists between attributes.

• Properties - use this window to modify model properties.

Use the Diagram functionality to view and modify objects when using the diagram view.

Use the Grid functionality to view and modify objects when using the grid view.

Use the Evaluation functionality to validate the vocabularies and to to display suggestions on how to streamline the data model.

Use the Contextual View functionality to create and define contextual views.

Use the Finish functionality to generate export files or to build the model.

Use the Post Build functionality to create DBVIEWs from the conceptual model.
