A database view defines a table definition for the display of element data. The data can be derived from a single element or multiple elements. Make sure that the correct element in the Database View Explorer is selected.

Use the Database View window to create a new database view element in the Database View element in the Database Explorer.

The Current Element Editor is populated with the default attributes, enter a name, lock, description, user-defined name, element types, database view sets, auto creation and allow definition attributes for the new database view element.

Beneath the database view element, the hierarchy can include an attribute column, attribute filter, create rules, expression column, expression filter and source element elements.
