Manage Component Groups Window - Engineering

Manages component groups for streams.

By default the Manage Component Groups window is empty. You must Manage Component Groups for Streams to populate the window. For more information, see Manage Component Groups Window - Configuration.

If you change the group templates in the Engineer module, the changes are available in the user session only.

If you change the group templates in the Configuration module, the definitions are available in your projects and referenced projects.

Delete

Deletes the selected group.

If you have already assigned groups to streams (Functional Items [FUNITES]) and then delete a single group or all groups in the Manage Component Groups window, the groups are removed from the streams, too. The next time you open the Stream Data Viewer all components are visible under Components - without grouping.
