Assign Instrument to Instrument Loop

The currently selected instrument on the drawing canvas can be associated with an instrument loop.

On the P&ID tab, in the Assign group, click Instrument and select to Loop from the drop-down menu to display the Select Loops window.The functionality available from the Select Loops window is identical to the Select Instruments window.

The control loop assignments value indicates the instrument loop associated with an instrument.

To display the control loop assignments attribute, select the instrument on the drawing canvas.

Open the Attributes window and navigate to the Control Loop Assignments attribute.
