Integrator can display Limit Points on pipelines in the Diagram Viewer. These can be placed on the ends of elements and in schematic tubes, enabling the piping designer to decide how the pipeline will be divided up into multiple pipes in the 3D model.
These limit points are stored in the design database in an Integrator Limit Point World and are rendered on the diagram view when the AVEVA P&ID is displayed. They are visible to other piping designers so each can see where the other has defined limit points.
Before limit points can be created on the AVEVA P&ID’s, a hierarchy must be created first. At each project location where limit points are to be added a Limits Points World element must be created with write access.
