Add Symbols

Symbols are added to the drawing canvas by dragging from the Symbol Palette, P&ID Explorer or directly from the grid.

Various symbols can be added to the drawing canvas:

• Equipment (for example, vessels or pumps)

• Nozzles

• Centerlines and centerline labels

• Secondary centerlines

• Trim pipes

• Valves (for example, control valves, globe valves, 3 way or 4 way valves)

• Reducers (for example, concentric reducers)

• Inline components (for example, flanges or end caps)

• Instruments (for example, indicators or controllers)

• Process instrument connection lines

• Off page connectors

• Annotation breaks

• Actuators

• Tie points

• Boundaries

• Signal Lines
