If required, the attribute from the data source can be mapped to a cell(s) in the datasheet template.

From the Template Explorer, select the required attribute, drag and drop the attribute into the cell adjacent to the matching label text in the datasheet template.

Or

From the Datasheet Template Editor window, select the cell adjacent to the required label text, then double-click the required attribute in the Template Explorer.

Map Cell Format

Mapped cells retain the formatting specified in the Datasheet Template Editor and supplied in the Excel template.

Revision Block Addition

Revision blocks can be mapped to the datasheet template, to create and configure a revision block.

From the Template Explorer, select the element beneath the revision block (in this case: generic pump), drag and drop the attribute into the datasheet template.

Or

From the Datasheet Template Editor window, select the cell then double-click the required attribute in the Template Explorer.

The selected cell in the datasheet template requires enough area to the right and bottom to accommodate the revision block. For example: the number of revisions (rows) and the number of attributes added (columns).

The revision block content order can be changed from the Properties pane. The available settings depend if the revision block Orientation property has been set to RevisionsAsRows or RevisionsAsColumns. If the Column Headers or Rows Headers property is set to False, the revision block header row is not shown in the datasheet instance.
