Repairing the System Database

Automatically, on GETWORK or on a module switch into ADMIN a check is done to check if the System database needs a ‘Repair’ to remove deleted Global elements including deleted databases. If a Repair is necessary then a prompt is displayed for the Repair can be done immediately of later on request using Utilities>System DB Repair.

Note:
You will not be prompted to carry out a Repair as a result of the system finding de-allocated databases. This results from the Keep MDBs option while de-allocating DBs (used during house-keeping procedures)

The displayed window allows for a Repair or a Repair Check, with output to screen or file.
