Resizable View Gadgets

When the size of the form is changed by the operator, the size of a view gadget is automatically adjusted to fill the space available in its container. The origin of the view (the top left-hand corner) always remains fixed in position and the view’s bottom right-hand corner adjusts according to the available space.

Note:
View gadgets do not support the ANCHOR and DOCK attributes. If you want a view that has these behaviors, you can place it in a frame gadget that you declare with the attribute you want. Since the view will expand to fill the frame, it will be as if you have an anchored or docked the view gadget.

Note:
AVEVA strongly recommend that all view gadgets are enclosed in frame gadgets, as this prevents any problem with form resizing, for example, image flicker, overwriting of gadgets placed to the right of or below the view's defined boundary.
