ADMIN Lead

A single technical expert, with an in-depth knowledge of the application from a User and Administration background is placed in charge of the whole project, has decision making authority and is the contact for communication with the engineering and IT management for the project. This person is to have a full-time Deputy who can stand-in in their place during planned and unexpected absence. In a Global project the location of the Hub should be sited at the location of this person.

This role, including the Deputy, should have a high-level of IT knowledge and be a trusted partner of the IT group with permissions to access the application server(s) to perform specific tasks.

It will be this role that has the main contact with AVEVA Support unless it pertains to a specific discipline need when the Discipline SME role comes into play.

This is a full-time role on a major project.
