Link and Update Simulation Item to Functional Item Individually

Prerequisite

• Open Simulation Unit Operation.

To link and update a simulation item to functional item Individually

1. In the EPT-UO-STREAM-GRID, select another Stream, for example, S3.

   

2. On the Simulation tab in the Functional Tags area, select the Link and Update PFD option to display the Link and Update window.

   

3. In the Functional Items column, select the dropdown arrow to display the available streams in a selection list.

   

4. Select the the corresponding S3 FUNITE.

   

5. Click Link and Update to display the Update Progress.

   

   If the Updates Progress is finalized, the Compare and Update window is displayed.

   

6. Click Compare.

   

7. In the Tags panel, select the Update check box.

8. On top of the Attributes panel select the Show attributes for all selected items check box.

9. Click Update.

   In the EPT-UO-STREAM-GRID, the FUNITE name populates the Realized by Stream field.

   

   You can now Link and Update Functional Items to Simulation Items.
