Export Data Model Entities to Excel

Use the Save As window to navigate to the location and name the data model entities export file. Select Data Model (*.xlsx) from the Save as type drop-down list.

Use the Data Model Export window to specify the entities to be exported.

Select the required worksheets for export.

The Exporting Data model window displays the progress of the export.

Cells with a grey background in the export file are reference only.

The active in build status of data model entities is exported for the following worksheets:

• Class

• Attribute

• Class Associations

• List of Values

• Measure Classes

If the active in build status is active, the data model entity is instantiated when the model is built. If the active in build status is inactive, the data model entity is not instantiated when the model is built.
