Heal Stream Split by Inline Item

Prerequisite

• Split Stream by Inline Item.

  

To heal a stream split by inline item

1. On the PFD Drawing, select the valve.

2. On the Simulation tab in the Modify area, select Split Downstream.

   Creates a new stream for downstream and existing stream lines with upstream.

   

   Now new stream say S7 is created from S2 (all properties same as S2) with From Connection V1 and To Connection SP1. The To Connection for stream S2 is now set to V1. The component V1 still considered as inline component and association Associated To Connector on V1 is still referring to S2. For more information, see Modify Area (Streams). If you what to recreate the initial status of stream 2, Delete Inline Item in Stream.
