Select Chamfer Method

Sets the default chamfer method.

Click Primitives in the Modify group on the Drawings ribbon and select Fillet>Chamfer.

The prompt Select option: <Select object> is displayed.

Input E at the prompt and press Enter.

The prompt Select option <Distance / Angle> is displayed.

Input D at the prompt to set the chamfer method as distance. Refer to Set Chamfer Distance for further information.

Alternatively, input A at the prompt to set the chamfer method as angle. Refer to Set Chamfer Angle for further information.

The process can be repeated to chamfer more objects. Refer to Chamfer Objects or Chamfer Multiple Objects for further information.
