PROMOTE (Project Definition)

Function:

Makes the named foreign Database (DB) a full DB within the current Project.

Description:

The DB becomes a full member of the current Project and all MDB allocations are retained. The command works in a Global Project environment and is issued at the Hub. The process will not complete if any Satellites are not contactable and the selected DB will remain foreign at all Locations.

Example:

PROMOTE DB MASTER/PIPECATA

Makes DB MASTER/PIPECATA a member of the current Project.
